Hotel Vincci Puerto Chico in Santander

This hotel is on Puerto Chico (small port) which joins up with the old Darsena de Molnedo (docks) which were built in 1884 and used to be the centre of the city’s fishing industry. Nowadays the port is only used for mooring recreational boats. From its quay there are spectacular views to the south and Bay of Biscay where the waters change colour depending on the wind.

The Vincci Puerto Chico hotel’s café is a well known meeting point for local yachtsmen. The Mirador Restaurant on the top floor has a wonderful view of the bay and serves excellent local cuisine only prepared with the freshest ingredients in season.
