The Gran Sol is an elegantly-decorated two-star establishment situated in San Antonio, 100 metres from the beach at Calo D’es Moro and a few steps from the famous ‘Sunset Strip’ which is lined with innumerable bars and nightspots, making this hotel a popular choice with young independent travellers. All of the 138 rooms were fully renovated in 2007 and now offer air conditioning and high levels of comfort throughout. Although the décor and furniture is basic, the rooms are sturdy, clean and spacious, offering en suite facilities with hairdryer, satellite TV, direct dial telephone, mini bar, safety deposit box (free of charge) and a private terrace or balcony.
